Barnacles Seaside Inn is a lovely old hostel built in 1923 and lovingly restored to its former glory with oak furniture and historic photos of the area. Situated on Paraparaumu Beach, it has full panoramic views over the sea to Kapiti Island and the South Island. Facilities include: BBQ, TV room, lockers, bike and luggage storage available. If desired, please request sea view when booking. Courtesy pick up if advised at time of booking. Paraparaumu is less than an hour north of Wellington.
